Thoughtful details and a highly refined aesthetic define Rock Garden, a comprehensive dining and lounge collection by renowned Hong Kong-based architecture and design icon André Fu.Through a combination of harmonious silhouettes and richly textured materials—solid premium teak, JANUSfiber, and Textured Alabama Ceramic tabletops—Rock Garden communicates tranquility and balance in any environment. “It is a collection that embraces the poetic qualities of the authentic Japanese garden—where masculinity of rocks and the sensuality of sand patterns juxtapose to create a unique language of visual tension,” says Fu of his first collaboration with JANUS et Cie. With a versatile offering of lounge, dining, and modular selections, Rock Garden’s unique, sculptural elements coordinate expertly with natural, outdoor spaces as well as urban, industrial environments. The collection was first unveiled during Salone del Mobile in an exclusive enchanting private garden installation crafted to showcase the carefully crafted designs as well as the serene inspiration behind Fu’s Rock Garden.
